We are driving through the mountains in British Columbia. They are extraordinarily beautiful. The rivers, cliffs, multicolored trees, clouds, rain, all collided to create this really spectacular scene.
The roads were very close to the mountains and we had numerous “Avalanche” and “Rock Slide” signs. Adam became very nervous (nearly bit his finger nails to the stub) as I swerved around a few small pebbles (seriously…about the size of a golf ball). I asked him if he were all right, and he said he was. We talked a little more and I asked him if this was what he expected. He said that he expected to have to drive through mountains, but didn’t expect to have to do it in ice, rain and around “boulder” in the road.
