Amending the Constitution and the “But they don’t obey now…” argument

I have been talking to people about Article V of the US Constitution concerning amendments.  Most of us know that the most common method to amend the Constitution is for Congress to proposes a Constitutional amendment with a 2/3 vote from both chambers of Congress and then if 3/4 of the states ratify the proposal, it becomes an amendment.  To date, this is the only method successfully used.  Fewer of us know about the second method of amending the Constitution which is parallel, but instead of the proposals coming from a 2/3 vote of Congress, they come from a 2/3 vote of the state legislatures.  We have never used this method mainly because fear mongers like the John Birch Society distribute massive amounts of propaganda predicting Constitutional catastrophe if we exercise this founder provided procedure.

Historic writings suggest that the second method was provided as a safeguard against an out of control federal government.  Ironically, now that we are experiencing a federal runaway, some very vocal opponents are using disinformation and deception to avoid applying the remedy the founders created.  The objections come in two principle forms: one suggesting that the convention to propose amendments might somehow be hijacked by progressive liberals and “runaway” thereby destroying the Constitution.  The second suggests that amendments would be futile because the current document is not being followed.

The first objection has been soundly rebuked by Rob Natelson in his excellent series of articles starting with this one.  I am more interested in the second objection and would like to offer a few observations and a lesson from Scripture that should serve to rebuff the second.  One of the resounding features of 1st world countries is reliance upon the rule of law.  I am concerned that so-called conservatives casually assert that our government hasn’t been “following the Constitution” and use that assertion as the basis for objecting to proposals to amend the Constitution.

I submit that the government actually has been following the Constitution.  Are we to think that politicians can routinely and overtly violate the law without consequence?  I reject that notion on its face.  In reality what has happened is that conservatives have been politically out maneuvered.  The progressives have used guile and craft, normally in the form of some judicial decision, to slowly and methodically alter the meaning of the Constitution in order to suit their purposes.  Once conservatives correctly diagnose the symptoms, I am confident they will come to understand that amending the Constitution is the only method available to right the sinking ship.

I would also like to suggest that since there is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9,10), we can presume that evil men have used this tactic before.  With respect to the Constitution, conservatives like to tout “original intent” as the only proper method of interpreting the legal truths contained in the document.  I believe that the Bible actually provides the lesson we seek when teaching us to worship in spirit and in truth.  Jesus taught this lesson to the woman at the well in Samaria memorialized in John 4:7-26.  He told her that “God is spirit, and those that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.”  I understand this to mean that we must go beyond complying with the written words and also comply with the intent.  To do so, however, requires us to know the Author and to understand what he wrote and why.

Is this so different than understanding the founder’s intent when writing the Constitution?  We must comply with the original intent in order to comply in spirit and in truth, and that requires us to know and understand what the authors wrote, why they wrote it, and what they understood their words to mean.  This lesson was made more sure for me when I compared it to another passage of Scripture.  In Matthew 15:1-9, Jesus teaches on traditions and commandments.   In this passage, Jesus rebuked the Jewish ruling elites for placing their own traditions over the commandments of God.  He said, “Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?” Then He quoted the prophet Isaiah saying, “This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.”

Essentially, Jesus was saying you are complying with the letter, but not the spirit of the law.  Over the last 100 years or so our Constitution has changed in great measure to judicial fiat, but more generally by the concerted efforts of a ruling elite to elevate their traditions over the commandments of the Constitution.  The Bible is not flawed, and while the Constitution does not enjoy the verbal plenary inspiration that Scriptures do, it has proven to be the preeminent authority for political discourse in civil societies.  We do not need to change the underlying spirit of our Constitution, but we do need to correct the bastardized texts that judges and legislatures have imposed upon the people in clear violation of the original intent of the founders and true spirit of the document.

Amendments such as those proposed by Mark Levin in his latest book The Liberty Amendments would do just that, reset 100 years of jurisprudence and force the progressive liberals to comply with the original intent of the founding fathers.  This process would allow us to take the benefit of over 200 years of experience and apply it to a great document in order to prevent evil men from doing harm to our country.

Emergency Ration Pack for your car

STRANDED in your car??

I hate being stuck in the car.  I almost always try to drive the freeway with another person because the HOV lane generally moves faster and I just get impatient waiting in traffic.  But what if you were really stranded in your car?

An internet search yielded hundreds of stories as recent as Jan 2013 where a woman was trapped for 18 hours in her car, and two stories from Jan and Feb 2012 about an elderly woman stranded over 3 days in a wastewater pond in Texas to the amazing survival tale of a Swedish man stuck in his car under hundreds of pounds of snow for an unbelievable two MONTHS.

Most of our cars are almost entirely empty space, so what keeps us from putting together a little “kit” to help sustain us in the unlikely event that we get stranded alive in our car?  For the purposes of this article I will focus on food stuffs only since they will need to be periodically rotated whereas most other survival gear can be stored and essentially forgotten.  I recommend vacuum sealing your supplies to keep them fresh, together and to help ward off the temptation to indulge in a snack while commuting to work.

I also try to minimize the number of containers to three: one for permanent stuff (pocket knife and flashlight), one for long shelf life items (the Isagenix products I will be recommending have two year shelf lives), and short shelf life items (like prescription medications that might have to be rotated every couple of months).  Mark the bag with it’s contents, the date it was packaged and the expiration or rotation date.

Give some thought to how you want to store all these goodies in your car.  Options range from a plastic storage bin to my personal choice, a tactical gear backpack like this: 5-11-tactical-triab-18-backpack Once your choice is made, determine how you will store it in your care and develop a strategy for getting to your cache.

After completing the preliminaries, turn your attention to the short term items.  For this kit I would include a 3-7 day supply of any medications you take daily, an antipyretic (like aspirin, acetaminophen or ibuprofen), an anti-diarrhea medicine (like Imodium) and a stimulant (like NoDoz).  Don’t forget to include these items for your entire family, but never less than a pack for two, just in case you happen to be giving someone a ride.  Load you medications into a vacuum seal bag, seal it, label it and date it; toss it in your storage container.

eplus_200x200 One quick note with respect to the stimulant; a great alternative is the Isagenix e+ Healthy Energy Shot.  I include these in my own pack, but vacuum pack them by themselves so there is no chance they can leak on my medications.

The next part is very simple.  I include one Isagenix IsaLean® Shake, one Ageless Essentials™ with Product B™ Antioxidants plus Telomere Support, and one FiberSnacks!™ per person per day.

isalean-shake-packets Ageless-Essentials-with-Product-B fiber-snacks

I built my kit for two people for two days.  If you go on a trip that covers remote areas, you might want to adapt yours for the conditions you might encounter.  I’m sure you’re ready to start this right away; all of these Isagenix products are available on my web page here: Isagenix

Mike Vanderboegh Speech at the Hartford firearm rights rally 20 Apr 2013

My name is Mike Vanderboegh and I’m a smuggler. I am from the great free state of Alabama and I am a Three Percenter.

If you need to pigeonhole my politics I consider myself a Christian libertarian. I believe in free men, free markets, the rule of law under the Founder’s Republic and that the Constitution extends to everyone regardless of race, creed, color or religion.

I most especially believe in the right of the people to keep and bear arms as the ultimate guarantor of liberty.

I have also been called a “seditionist” by members of the current regime. If faithfully fulfilling my oath to the Founders’ Republic and unrelenting hostility to those who would undermine and overthrow it makes me a “seditionist” then I cheerfully plead guilty.

The Three Percent movement I founded has been denounced by that paragon of moral virtue Bill Clinton and I am a perennial “honorable mention” on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s list of dangerous folks. I have even been the subject of an eighteen and a half minute rant by Rachel Madcow on MSNBC and the current Attorney General of the United States knows — and despises — me by name because of the Fast and Furious scandal that, with my friend David Codrea, I broke the news of on the Internet. Eric Holder would not be surprised to know that the feeling is mutual.

The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence calls me an “insurrectionist” because I don’t believe, as they do, in a government monopoly of violence, but rather in a literal interpretation of the 2nd Amendment as a bulwark against tyranny. Well, as my friend Kurt Hofmann says, “It is better to be despised by the despicable than admired by the admirable” and I suppose my remarks here today will only reinforce my enemies’ opinions of me. I think I can bear the burden.

Yesterday was the anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775, but also of the liquidation of the Warsaw ghetto in 1943 and that of the Branch Davidians at Waco fifty years later to the day — two examples of what happens when governments exercise a monopoly of violence.

It is proper, then, to contemplate the lessons of the date in history — April 19th — then, now and in the near future. What I say now I say with reluctance, sadness and not a little bit of dread, but say it I must.

Neither do I believe that you consent, for you would not be here today if you did. But what I say is not easy to say nor easy to hear and many of you will not like it.

“An unconstitutional law is void.” So says the standard legal text American Jurisprudence. That is certainly true. The tricky part is how we are to make that point when the local, state and federal executive and legislative branches as well as the courts are in the hands of the domestic enemies of the Constitution. Every one who is currently trying to take away your right to arms starts out by saying “I support the 2nd Amendment.” Let me tell you a home truth from Alabama — Barack Obama supports the 2nd Amendment about as much as Adolf Hitler appreciated Jewish culture, or Joe Stalin believed in individual liberty. Believe what politicians do, not what they say.

So what shall we do about this current spate of tyranny breaking out all over?

The facsimile of a semi-automatic pistol that some of you hold in your hands was smuggled into your state from the South. Manufactured in Georgia, trans-shipped to Alabama, it came across your state line in the trunk of a car. The fact that the authorities of your state have not yet banned “sponge guns” is immaterial. It could as easily been a whole trunk full of real pistols. Indeed, before this year no one thought that other firearms and related items would ever be banned — but they have been. No one thought that the authorities of your state would pass laws making criminals out of the previously law-abiding — but they did. If they catch you violating their unconstitutional laws, they will — when they please — send armed men to work their will upon you. And people — innocent of any crime save the one these tyrants created — will die resisting them.

Yet despite the cost, these unconstitutional laws MUST be resisted. For if not now, when? And if not us, who? This is no longer a “slippery slope” leading to firearm registration and eventual confiscation — it is a precipice that some states have already plunged over and that the federal government threatens to follow. Arrests are happening NOW. When, if not now, shall we resist? Will we allow ourselves to be shoved back once again, from the free exercise of our God-given, natural and inalienable rights to liberty? — Shoved back once more, muttering but compliant?

The Founders knew how to answer such tyranny. When Captain John Parker — one of the three percent of American colonists who actively took the field against the King during the Revolution — mustered his Minutemen on Lexington Green, it was in a demonstration of ARMED civil disobedience. He might have retreated at the British approach, but he didn’t. He might have ordered his men to lay down their arms, but he didn’t. His defiance was silent but plainly stated. A veteran of the French and Indian War, he did not want a war. He knew intimately the horrors of war. BUT HE ALSO KNEW THAT SOME THINGS ARE WORSE THAN WAR. The British could not tolerate his silent defiance — and someone fired a shot.

But even before the shot heard ’round the world, the colonists understood their weaknesses and their military needs and did something about it. They smuggled. They smuggled Dutch gunpowder and French flints. They smuggled tents and uniform cloth and artillery and ammunition. Boston was the high headquarters of anti-British smuggling and John Hancock was its prime minister. Connecticut was a small empire built on patriotic smuggling. The colonists knew what to do and they did it, regardless of the risk — regardless of all the King’s ministers and the King’s soldiery.

They defied the King. They resisted his edicts. They evaded his laws and they smuggled. Lord above, did they smuggle.

Now we find ourselves in a similar situation. The new King Barack and his minions have determined to disarm us. We must determine to resist them.

No one wants a new civil war (except, apparently, the anti-constitional tyrants who passed these laws and the media toadies who cheer them on) but one is staring us in the face. Yes, a civil war is staring us in the face. To think otherwise is to whistle past the graveyard of our own history. We must, if we wish to avoid armed conflict, get this message across to the collectivists who have declared their appetites for our liberty, our property and our lives —

Just like King George, such people will not care, nor modify their behavior, by what you say, no matter how loudly or in what numbers you say it. They will only pay attention to what you DO.

So defy them. Resist their laws. Evade them. Smuggle in what they command you not to have. Only by our ACTS will they be impressed. Then, if they mean to have a civil war, they will at least have been informed of the unintended consequences of their tyrannical actions. Again I say —

Defy. Resist. Evade. Smuggle. If you wish to stay free and to pass down that freedom to your children’s children you can do no less than to become the lawbreakers that they have unconstitutionally made of you. Accept that fact. Embrace it. And resolve to be the very best, most successful lawbreakers you can be.

One last thing before I go. On Thursday I smuggled a half-dozen 30 round AR-15 standard capacity magazines into Connecticut in deliberate disobedience of the new state diktat.

So to Martin Looney, Mike Williams, Larry Cafarro and John McKinney I’d like to say this:

And I’ll tell you something else. When the new ammo restrictions go into effect the first week of July, I’ll be back — with two full crates of 7.62×39 ball ammunition and I will transfer said ammunition into the hands of a Connecticut citizen without the state’s permission or paperwork.

And after I break their unconstitutional laws again, I’ll be sitting in Frank Pepe’s Pizza down in New Haven waiting for Looney and Company to come arrest me —

Thank you.

Believe it or not, I was thinking that my column of two weeks ago was my last column in which I would focus on Congressman Ron Paul–that was before the Republican National Convention in Tampa took place. I have never seen such a disgusting display of chicanery and duplicity in all of my life. So, in spite of the fact that I have written so much about The Greatest Congressman In US History (my title for Ron Paul), here I go again.

First, a report on Paul Fest: I was honored to be one of the featured speakers for the event, which drew thousands of Ron Paul supporters from all over the country. I was able to meet and speak with hundreds of these wonderful people, as they came up to me before and after I spoke.

Not only was I surprised at how many of these people read this column, but how many are watching our Sunday services that we livestream each Sunday afternoon. I am convinced that there are hundreds of thousands of patriot Christians who are fed up with mainstream churches and pastors, who are hungering and thirsting for patriot pastors who know what’s going on and are not afraid to speak the truth. Not able to find such pastors where they live, they are tuning in to our services on the Internet.

The service at Liberty Fellowship is broadcast live each Sunday at approximately 2:30pm Mountain Time. To access the service live this Sunday, click here.

To watch my archived messages online, click here.

Next, the thought of Ron Paul no longer being our champion on Capitol Hill is extremely disconcerting! There is sadness in my heart at Dr. Paul’s departure from Congress that I don’t think I’ve ever felt. The only instance I can think of that comes close is when Helen Chenoweth of Idaho term-limited herself in order to fulfill her word of honor to her constituents. (It was even sadder to hear of her untimely death a few years ago.) But Dr. Paul’s absence in Congress will leave a void that is difficult to describe. Suffice it to say, as Congress is currently comprised, there is no one on Capitol Hill who comes close to taking his place. But it is the way that this champion of liberty was treated by the GOP establishment that has my blood boiling!

Anyone who has paid any attention to what the Republican Party has done to Ron Paul and his supporters must be thoroughly outraged at the injustice and injurious treatment inflicted, not only upon Ron and his followers, but also upon the integrity of a free and fair political process. In short, we don’t have a free and fair political process in America anymore! What we have is a Soviet-style political apparatus that thrives on manipulation, intimidation, and downright dishonesty.

The RNC was so blatantly manipulative and crooked that the Republican governor of Maine, Paul LePage, justifiably boycotted the convention–and the Maine Ron Paul delegation understandably all left in protest. The video tribute the RNC played at the convention in honor of Congressman Paul (while very good as far as it went) was shown in an attempt to placate Ron’s millions of supporters. However, in actuality it was the height of hypocrisy, as the RNC had pulled out every underhanded and unethical trick in the book in order to make sure that Ron Paul was never given a chance to prevail as the Republican nominee for President. Of course, the national propaganda press corps was a willing accomplice to the RNC destruction of Ron’s campaign.

But the establishment’s ultimate insult to the twelve-term congressman occurred as Ron Paul and his wife tried to leave Tampa using a private plane. Lew Rockwell posted this: “Ron, Carol, and one of their granddaughters left the GOP snake pit yesterday afternoon, but the State was not yet through with them. At the little airport in Clearwater, 8 TSA agents descended on them and ordered them not to board their private plane. First, the pilots, the airplane, and the passengers would have to be screened in great detail, because Romney might be nearby. After a long examination of the pilots and their credentials, the agents said they had to check the plane for explosives. One of the pilots noted that the plane, full of gas, was already a bomb. Then Carol Paul, who has a heart pacemaker, refused to be screened, and an aide started taking video of the whole rotten proceeding. At that point, the TSA backed down and let them through.”

Such is the way a totalitarian-state-in-the-making treats a 76-year-old congressman with more than two decades of seniority and three-time candidate for President of the United States! Welcome to the United Soviet Socialist America!

Now, with millions of so-called Christians and conservatives lining up in support of the phony conservative Mitt Romney, the American people are once again left with the choice of Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum. No, I don’t buy the “anybody-but-Obama” mantra, either! In many ways, an unprincipled, compromising pseudo-conservative Republican is worse than an obviously liberal Democrat. The patriots of 1776 had far more to fear from Benedict Arnold than they did King George. An enemy easily identified is much less formidable than one who marches in the uniform of an ally.

That being said, where do we go from here?

Regardless who is elected President in November, nothing will be done to stop, or even slow down, America’s lust for foreign entanglements and wars. And that means nothing will be done to stop or slow down the burgeoning police state that is enveloping our nation. By 2016, there won’t be many liberties left in this country, regardless which party captures the White House. That is an absolute certainty! With the approbation and blessing of both Romney and Obama, the police and warfare states–not to mention the size and growth of government–will continue to accelerate at an unprecedented scale.

At this point, I am going to borrow from notable researcher and analyst Joel Skousen. In my opinion, his analysis regarding the “Where are we going” question is absolutely spot on. Here I share with readers Skousen’s sagacity. My condensed version of his comments follows.

“1) The [American] people are no longer worthy of liberty. Americans as a whole are soft, materialistic and too content with life to fight, let alone recognize the loss of liberty. As long as they are allowed to go to church and buy what they want, they think they are free. But the noose is tightening. The youth are even softer, so the trend is in the wrong direction. Americans may still consider themselves a religious people, but religion, for the most part, doesn’t change their little bad habits, so at some point their religion is not leading to righteousness. They stop listening to the refining voice of conscience. Religious people don’t even honor the Sabbath anymore.

“To the Lord, listening to the personal promptings of conscience is where the real test of religiosity lies and most Christians are chronic violators of conscience in the ‘little things’ relative to weight control, nutrition, recreation choices, use of time and failure to discipline children. Trouble is, this callous disregard for the ‘still small voice’ leads to bigger problems and worse decisions. That is why immorality and divorce are high even among church goers. There are notable exceptions, but in general America is getting more unworthy to be saved by God.

“2) Americans are lazy about finding truth. Today, more than ever with the vast information on the web, the truth is out there (except for most of the deepest and darkest secrets of conspiracy), and if people don’t find it, something is wrong with them relative to the workings of conscience and self control. That’s my point. Far too many people have become immune to the faint warning signals that something is wrong, or if they do hear it, they are too busy searching for material welfare to care.

“[3] States have become corrupt too: It is only partially true that state and local governments are easier to reform than the federal government. All state governments have corruption problems and some states like California, Illinois and New York have corruption machines that rival the mafia. Most large cities are also totally corrupt inside. That said, some states are clearly less corrupt than others, but there is an establishment good ‘old boy network, closely allied with the liberal press in every major city that works together to make sure than no Ron Paul or free market revolutionary gains control.

“What about the God is in Control argument? Optimistic Christian conservatives always throw out the argument that ‘God is in Control’ and so we don’t have to worry. He has the power to change things. As a believer, I agree. He does have the power. But the real question is will He intervene to save us? And, is America worthy of being saved by God? I don’t think so anymore. That doesn’t mean all is lost for everyone, but it does point to us heading for a great period of tribulation and the loss of liberty at the national level as it morphs into the NWO. I’m a religious person, and keep my eyes open constantly searching for signs that God is intervening as he did in the nation’s founding– allowing a set of leaders to rise to positions of influence where they can turn the tide, or even allowing major financing to come to principled people so they can bypass the establishment media, or schools, and fund a national movement to renew America. Nothing has happened. The big money only goes to ineffective or mainstream causes. We do have ample numbers of great thinkers with ideals and principles as profound as America’s founders, but none have been allowed to rise in power. Ron Paul got the closest. Those ministers who have achieved great wealth and fame in televangelism have done so by singing the easy gospel that people want to hear. Those that have been granted access to the White House prayer breakfast meetings during the Bush administration were those who refused to speak up or criticize the big government or war agenda. All the real champions of freedom have been left on the sidelines. Ron Paul is the only one to even get close to a run at the presidency and he has been shut down–but not without building the movement. I’ve seen God’s hand helping to gather the remnant, but no indications of any real optimism toward beating the mammoth evil that is growing even faster than the Liberty Movement.

“Considering the overwhelming moral evil in our nation that burdens the Lord’s sense of justice, I think He is bound to let the sword of justice fall. You can’t just manufacture specific faith in a proposed event by hope only or wishful thinking. For specific faith in a hoped for event to be valid, you have to have the spiritual confirmation that it is the Lord’s will, and that must come from God and not rosy-eyed optimism. While the Lord might certainly want the nation to be saved, God himself cannot arbitrarily disregard the decree of justice upon which the universe operates. Only upon terms of repentance and change of heart can condemnation be averted, and I don’t see that happening. I’m keeping an open heart and mind that it might, but the signs aren’t good.”

But it is Skousen’s conclusion that truly speaks to my heart. He writes:

“We can still fight for liberty to gain a minority foothold within the nation–a resistance movement, if you will, even if we can’t win back the whole. But when you are dealing with a minority of good people, to exercise any power at all, you have to congregate together so that you have a majority in a region or local area. Our greatest problem in a losing battle of attrition is that we are spread out uniformly across the nation–dispersed in a sea of humanity where none of us constitute a majority.

“If there is any hope for liberty it will be because pockets of liberty and resistance form during the next war when government itself is busy saving itself and not targeting freedom-loving dissidents–yet. I think you’ll see the time, when crisis comes that the social unrest will drive people out of their current places and the Lord will inspire those who can listen to go to places of refuge where other like-minded people are also gathering. Some will be inspired to go to safe places before the crisis, and if you are one of those, heed the promptings.”

My take differs only slightly from Skousen’s: I believe when the crisis comes, people will not be able to relocate, which is why the Lord is inspiring people to relocate NOW, and why the gathering of eagles is already taking place here in Montana’s Flathead Valley and in other places.

If my understanding of scriptures is close to accurate, one of the signs that God is giving a nation or people over to judgment is a dearth of principled leadership. Ron Paul’s departure from Congress–along with the way the Republican Party, the national media, and the American people as a whole, rejected his message of liberty and constitutional government–make it appear that judgment has already begun.

The Terror of a Toy

The Terror of a Toy

G.K. Chesterton

I got this from

typos were corrected.

“Fancies versus Fads”, New York, Dodd, Mead and company, 1923, pages 105 through 110.

It would be too high and hopeful a compliment to say that the world is becoming absolutely babyish. For its chief weak-mindedness is an inability to appreciate the intelligence of babies. On every side we hear whispers and warnings that would have appeared half-witted to the Wise Men of Gotham. Only this Christmas I was told in a toy-shop that not so many bows and arrows were being made for little boys; because they were considered dangerous. It might in some circumstances be dangerous to have a little bow. It is always dangerous to have a little boy. But no other society, claiming to be sane, would have dreamed of supposing that you could abolish all bows unless you could abolish all boys.

With the merits of the latter reform I will not deal here. There is a great deal to be said for such a course; and perhaps we shall soon have an opportunity of considering it. For the modern mind seems quite incapable of distinguishing between the means and the end, between the organ and the disease, between the use and the abuse; and would doubtless beak the boy along with the boy, as it empties out the baby with the bath.

But let us, by way of a little study in this mournful state of things, consider this case of the dangerous toy. Now the first and most self-evident truth is that, of all the things a child sees and touches, the most dangerous toy is about the least dangerous thing. There is hardly a single domestic utensil that is not much more dangerous than a little bow and arrows. He can burn himself in the fire, he can boil himself in the bath, he can cut his throat with the carving-knife, he can scald himself with the kettle, he can choke himself with anything small enough, he can break his neck off anything high enough. He moves all day long amid a murderous machinery, as capable of killing and maiming as the wheels of the most frightful factory. He plays all day in a house fitted up with of torture like the Spanish Inquisition. And, while he thus dances in the shadow of death, he is to be saved from all the perils of possessing a piece of string, tied to a bent bough or twig. When he is a little boy it generally takes him some time even to learn how to hold the bow. When he does hold it, he is delighted if the arrow flutters for a few yards like a feather or an autumn leaf. But even if he grows a little older and more skilful, and has yet not learned to despise arrows in favour of aeroplanes, the amount of damage he could conceivably do with his little arrows would be about one-hundredth part of the damage he could always in any case have done by simply picking up a stone in the garden.

Now you do not keep a little boy from throwing stones by preventing him from ever seeing stones. You do not do it by locking up all the stones in the Geological Museum, and only issuing tickets of admission to adults. You do not do it by trying to pick up all the pebbles on the beach, for fear he should practise throwing them into the sea You do not even adopt so obvious and even pressing a social reform as forbidding roads to be made of anything but asphalt, or directing that all gardens shall be made on clay and none on gravel. You neglect all these great opportunities opening before you; you neglect all these inspiring vistas of social science and enlightenment. When you want to prevent a child from throwing stones, you fall back on the stalest and most sentimental and even most superstitious methods. You do it by trying to preserve some reasonable authority and influence over the child. You trust to your private relation with the boy, and not to your public relation with the stone. And what is true of the natural missile is just as true, of course, of the artificial missile; especially as it is a very much more ineffectual and therefore innocuous missile. A man could be really killed, like St. Stephen, with the stones in the road. I doubt if he could be really killed, like St. Sebastian, with the arrows in the toyshop. But anyhow the very plain principle is the same. If you can teach a child not to throw a stone, you can teach him when to shoot an arrow; if you cannot teach him anything, he will always have something to throw. If he can be persuaded not to smash the Archdeacon’s hat with a heavy flint, it will probably be possible to dissuade him from transfixing that head-dress with a toy arrow. If his training deters him from heaving half a brick at the postman, it will probably also warn him against constantly loosening shafts of death against the policeman. But the notion that the child depends upon particular implements, labelled dangerous, in order to be a danger to himself and other people, is a notion so nonsensical that it is hard to see how any human mind can entertain it for a moment. The truth is that all sorts of faddism, both official and theoretical, have broken down the natural authority of the domestic institution, especially among the poor; and the faddists are now casting about desperately for a substitute for the thing they have themselves destroyed. The normal thing is for the parents to prevent a boy from doing more than a reasonable amount of damage with his bow and arrow; and for the rest, to leave him to a reasonable enjoyment of them. Officialism cannot thus follow the life of the individual boy, as can the individual guardian. You cannot appoint a particular policeman for each boy, to pursue him when he climbs trees or falls into ponds. So the modern spirit has descended to the indescribably mental degradation of trying to abolish the abuse of things by abolishing the things themselves; which is as if it were to abolish ponds or abolish trees. Perhaps it will have a try at that before long. Thus we have all heard of savages who try a tomahawk for murder, or burn a wooden club for the damage it has done to society. To such intellectual levels may the world return.

There are indeed yet lower levels. There is a story from America about a little boy who gave up his toy cannon to assist the disarmament of the world. I do not know if it is true, but on the whole I prefer to think so; for it is perhaps more tolerable to imagine one small monster who could do such a thing than many more mature monsters who could invent or admire it. There were some doubtless who neither invented nor admired. It is one of the peculiarities of the Americans that they combine a power of producing what they satirize as “sobstuff” with a parallel power of satirizing it. And of the two American tall stories, it is sometimes hard to say which is the story and which the satire. But it seems clear that some people did really repeat this story in a reverential spirit. And it marks, as I have said, another stage of the cerebral decay. You can (with luck) break a window with a toy arrow; but you can hardly bombard a town with a toy guy. If people object to the mere model of a cannon, they must equally object to the picture of a cannon, and so to every picture in the world that depicts a sword or a spear. There would be a splendid clearance of all the great art-galleries of the world. But it would be nothing to the destruction of all the great libraries of the world, if we logically extended the principle to all the literary masterpieces that admit the glory of arms. When this progress had gone on for a century or two, it might begin to dawn on people that there was something wrong with their moral principle. What is wrong with their moral principle is that it is immoral. Arms, like every other adventure of art of man, have two sides according as they are invoked for the infliction or the defiance of wrong. They have also an element of real poetry and an element of realistic and therefore repulsive prose. The child’s symbolic sword and bow are simply the poetry without the prose; the good without the evil. The toy sword is the abstraction and the emanation of the heroic, apart from all its horrible accidents. It is the soul of the sword, that will never be stained with blood.

The REAL use of Obama care

In a few short years now if we do not repeal and destroy Obamacare we will all be in the organized clutches of a complete tyranny designed to control, redistribute wealth and destroy people – young and old.

Shamefully, Obamacare was enacted into law a few years ago as one of the many impeachable assaults against the people and our Constitution. In the early versions of Obamacare there was to be much more enforcement authority given to the IRS. This was to include the ability to enact criminal charges, issue huge penalties and seize accounts. Thankfully, a few Democrats pulled back some of the enforcement power from the IRS. As it is now, at least at the starting gate of this Obamacare horror show, the IRS cannot arrest you, even though they have been given police powers by Obama and have a history of abusing power.

Judge Napolitano weighed in on the limitations of the IRS. What would happen if you refused to pay for Obamacare? “The IRS cannot seize bank accounts or dock wages. The IRS cannot add penalties for your failure to pay, the only thing that keeps adding is interest, and the interest if established by the statute.”

So, at the starting gate, we have 16,000 new IRS agents all funded by Obama for the first four years who will harass, intimidate and raise ‘interest’ rates on the people if they don’t comply.

Already, the Congressional Budget Office is estimating at least 4 million will not comply and be hit with fines by 2016. According to William Douglass MD 3 million of them will be middle class. He reminds us that a family of 4 making under $120,000 will all be forced to pay a fine of $1,000 each – 2.5% of income, $695 minimum if they refuse to pay. Douglass supports the option of old fashioned civil disobedience since there is nothing the IRS can do to make you pay the Obama care fee.

Concerns and Danger in the wind

Be afraid and do not believe for a minute that the implementation of Obamacare will be benign. There is no way in hell or heaven that Obama and the IRS will settle for just raising interest rates on the people for non compliance. If left in power or re elected, Obama will ignore the limitations of power written into the law and grow in vicious attacks, direct and indirect on those who do not pay. Why else would Obama have given ‘police’ powers to the IRS, provided for 16,000 new agents and funded these for the next 4 years?

Expect and fight

The IRS, Obama and Obamacare will gather, use, and sell lists of non-compliant people. Obama will make sure there is a costly price for non-compliance. This will be on and off the radar screen.

Obama ignores rules, laws, our Constitution and ethics now. Do you think he cares even a tinge what the Obama care bill states as limits to the IRS enforcement? No and No. Obama will build an enforcement and threatening nightmare for America with his new ‘bed buddy’ – the IRS. He will do this while real health care issues and needs continue to be ignored. The IRS is being trained and equipped to be Obama’s SS. Expect it and fight with everything you have against it.

Obamacare is nothing but a Marxist-Communist weapon and tool designed to crush real health care, competition and freedom. Obamacare is a control over reach that will steal and redistribute our money via, fines and interest increases. Obama and his IRS plans on the seizing of assets and accounts for those who are non compliant. It is part of the original plan and is boldly on its way. So are arrests and re education camps.

Remember the 72 FEMA camps that have been activated, leaked documents from Homeland Security spelling out in detail ‘re education’ camps, thanks to private investigator and head of North East Intelligence Doug Hagmann’s work and sources Obama is not building a regime to just allow the masses to experience a few interest rate increases for non-compliance.

If Obama is re – elected and allowed to continue and grow his agenda and power, we will see a repeat of history as in the days of Mussolini and Hitler. I predict Obama will treat his enemies the same way. There is nothing Constitutional, Christian or American about Obama. Join me and help me take Obama on: Speak your mind, meet others and blogg:

Democratic campaign ‘trackers’ tape, post videos of Republicans’ homes

These Democrats are real scum bags; they have no decency, no honor, no respect.  They are little more than cockroaches and deserve the same fate.  I’m so sick and tired of what these jerks have turned politics into that I can hardly stand it.

The simple truth is that they prevent good people from running, and eliminate any capability to have any civil discourse on solving our nation’s problems.  I think they do this because they ultimately want anarchy and chaos as precursors to a totalitarian takeover.

Bullies are often cowards and while most of us would have simply ignored these thugs in the past, the end result is that we have an increasingly disproportionate number of Democratic operatives in elected office and the judiciary.  I wonder if the time hasn’t come to start to cull the herd.  They operate with impunity, while conservatives avoid the arena because of their dirty tricks.  Perhaps the time has come to start generating some fear in them as well.

A good start would be to start publicizing any “dirt” available on ANY Democrat.  I think that all Democrats should come to realize that they will each be held accountable for the actions of any in their party.  Until the rest of the Democratic party members start distancing themselves from the radicals, then these bully tactics they are using will continue.

Democratic campaign ‘trackers’ tape, post videos of Republicans’ homes

Published July 12, 2012

Video “trackers” are a mainstay on the campaign trail nowadays. Dispatched by candidates to shadow their rivals, they lurk in the crowds and the receiving lines waiting for the opponent to slip up, then capture the embarrassing moment on camera and post it online.

But this season, Democrats are taking the practice to a new and, some say, uncomfortable level by recording the homes of some Republican incumbents.

Two of the recent targets this year have been Ohio Rep. Jim Renacci and Wisconsin Rep. Reid Ribble, whose homes appear in roughly 30-second video clips posted online.

“It really crosses a line,” Ribble told Fox News. “I think it’s fair game for a tracker or the other party to tape what you’re saying. But this doesn’t do anything for them or the political process. And quite frankly it really disturbed my wife.”

In the Ribble video, posted online June 18, his Wisconsin home is filmed from several different angles on a windy day. It’s unclear whether anyone was home when the video, which has no sound, was shot. The Renacci video follows the same formula — straight, raw footage of the congressman’s home posted to YouTube.

Democrats are defending the practice. They say the videos of GOP members’ homes — which are generally spacious, nice-looking dwellings — expose the fact that congressional Republicans used this session to help the wealthy and themselves.

“House Republicans have spent this entire Congress trying to hide that they’re protecting benefits for millionaires and perks for themselves instead of protecting the middle class. But we won’t let them keep it secret any longer,” said Jesse Ferguson, spokesman for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

The rival National Republican Congressional Committee also uses trackers, but in a more limited scope, spokesman Paul Lindsay said.

“Our trackers serve as eyes and ears to hold Democrats accountable in public events and public spaces only,” he said. “Anything beyond that would be a violation of our policy.”

Ribble acknowledges being a successful businessman, but said he and his family live in a middle-class home in a middle-class neighborhood.

Renacci, meanwhile, is in a close race with another incumbent, Democrat Betty Sutton, in the state’s redrawn 16th Congressional District. He suggested Sutton has had few accomplishments during her tenure in Congress, leaving her to instead attack him.

“It’s amazing they would stoop this low,” Renacci said.

The Sutton campaign, though, said the tracker was not one of their employees.

“I would hope that all political trackers respect the personal privacy of the Renacci family and the families of all candidates so that the differences between the candidates on real issues Ohio voters care about can be presented,” Sutton said in a statement. “Voters deserve to hear about my work focused on fighting for jobs, protecting Medicare, and creating opportunities for the middle class in Ohio and Congressman Renacci’s record of supporting tax breaks for companies that outsource jobs and voting to end Medicare as we know it, and we will continue to work in a respectful way to expose Renacci’s harmful record.”

Two other Republicans reportedly were the target of aggressive tracking — Rep. Mike Coffman, of Colorado, and David Valadao, a Republican in the California state Assembly. The Coffman video was posted by a group called Colorado Fair Share, though a representative with the organization could not be reached for comment. That clip shows footage of Coffman’s upscale neighborhood, and briefly shows a woman asking an apparent neighbor about Coffman’s whereabouts when he doesn’t answer the door.

Back when I was a kid we used to call them loud mouths.

You know what I’m talking about; the guys who know everything but never do anything with what they know.

The Bible calls it “faith without works” or “clouds without rain.” Shakespeare said that they were “sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

I am referring to America’s talk radio giants. We have been led to believe that they are fighting for truth, when, in fact, they are hiding the truth. They are political hacks, charlatans, sitting in front of big microphones designed to be used as pressure valves for the America people.

You may not want to hear what I am going to share with you. I am sorry to burst your bubble, but even those big “conservative talkers” are part of the matrix. Their job is to assure you that everything is going to be all right. Their solution to every problem facing America can be solved by one simple action.

Elect Republicans. How has that worked for you America?

Rush bellows on for three-hours per day with “talent on loan from God” without even once giving a cursory nod to the fact that the problems in America are ethical, not political. His solution is simple; get rid of Obama. Elect Republicans, the more “conservative” the better.

Hannity is no better. He follows Rush’s 90 minute monologue with his one-hit mantra, “Republicans good, Democrats bad.” He, at least gives an occasional nod to “The Diety” (that’s what Bill O’Reilly calls Jehovah) by encouraging the listeners to “let not your heart be troubled.”

Glenn Beck used to be in the club, but he messed around and got a little bit off of the reservation and they quickly smacked him down. At least he his providing a different answer than that salvation lies in the Republican machine. But his numbers are falling. My take is that Mormon money and influence is keeping him afloat.

Surprisingly, the number three guy is Michael Savage. He is the only one I trust, because he is not a Republican songbird. What is remarkable about Dr. Savage and his show is that he is in a lousy evening time slot, 6:00 to 10:00 EST, broadcasts from San Fransicko, and is persona non grata on the mainstream “conservative Faux News.” If Savage had Rush’s or Hannity’s time slot and exposure he would blow both of them away in the ratings. He is his own guy, not a Republican lapdog. He would lead to a better America.

Haven’t you noticed how controlled the national “conservative” radio message is? Faux News picks the voices that control the conservative masses.

I travel regularly and I often find myself alone on the road with my thoughts and the car radio. I don’t care what town you are in, you can punch the scan button and, depending on the time of day, you will eventually connect with Sean or El Rushbo. Every town, every state, you will be able to find them spewing the Republican line.

How can that be, I ask myself. Why is there not a greater variety of conservative voices on the air? Whatever happened to local talkers?

Rush rarely has guests. As he loves to point out, his show is about what HE thinks.

Hannity must not be as smart as Rush because he does permit other opinions to be heard on his show. Unfortunately, it is usually, Karl Rove, Dick Morris, or some Republican elected official.

Naturally, they agree with Sean that the problems are all the work of the “liberals,” “Democrats,” or Obama. They assure us that liberals are bad and the conservatives are good. We need only elect more “conservatives” and things will turn around.

I listen to both of them regularly because I appreciate their ability to frame an argument. But during this campaign season, they get tiresome. Day after day the topic is the same…getting rid of Obama…and the solution never changes…elect Republicans.

Most of us get it already. We understand the problem but don’t agree with the solution. It is Republicans that gave us McCain and Romney. John Roberts is a Republican. Obama shouldn’t stand a chance in November but Republicans have been as much to blame as Democrats.

The entire two-party political system stinks. Why won’t they talk about the things that would really make a difference? Why won’t they use their microphone to organize an offensive against the entire political class? They could lead a movement that would bring REAL political change in this nation.

Imagine if both of them picked up a cause and spurred millions to action. Instead of criticizing the Occupy movement, what if they used their show to give a voice to the REAL America they are always talking about.

Permit me to offer a few suggestions of causes that Limbaugh and Hannity could promote. Millions listen weekly, but listen is all they do. Action is needed now, more than ever. Talk is cheap. What if the Big Talkers gave their listeners something to DO?

What if they inspired all of their listeners to bombard our elected officials to investigate the following issues?

How about they demand an audit of the FED?
How about they demand an investigation into the influence of foreign nations on American foreign policy?
How about they lead a charge to protect the 2nd Amendment?
How about they demand a release of all of Obama’s college records and an answer to his phony Social Security number?
How about an education of the Constitutional authority of the Supreme Court?
How about a demand for reformation of the tax code?
How about a return to sound money policy?
How about a movement to end abortion through Personhood?
How about a move to eliminate the EPA?
How about a drive to eliminate the Energy Department?
How about an initiative to repeal the Patriot Act?
How about a phone barrage to eliminate the DHS?
How about a movement to close the borders?
How about a movement to end the War on Drugs?
How about they expose the true threat of Islam?
How about a move to create a viable alternative Conservative Party?
How about a move to return Biblical Values in our Schools.
How about they lead a move to get us out of the United Nations?
How about a return of education to the local districts and demanding the teaching of truth to our children?
How about an investigation of the banks and the bankers?
How about an expose’ on where the TARP money went?
How about they lead a charge to fight election fraud?
How about they reveal the influence of the Israeli lobby?
How about an expose’ on the Muslim Lobby?
How about they lead a return to Constitutional government?

Our problems are so much bigger than Liberals and Conservatives. Rush’s and Sean’s solutions are so shallow. How can any “conservative” hate Ron Paul and embrace Mitt Romney?

As I get older I become more aware of the passage of time and how short life really is. Sean and Rush are missing a change to lead a movement. Electing Republicans is not “change you can believe in.”

Life is short Rush. Fame and money are fleeting Sean. Put down your pom poms; get off of the Republican bandwagon and lead the Calvary to an America-saving hunt for the truth.

Jesus told us that a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Both political parties are producing rotten fruit because the tree is rotten. America needs to refresh the tree of liberty!

Rush needs to untie the other half of his brain. Sean needs to become a great American, not just a great Republican. It’s time to put up or shut up. They’ll never get this chance again.

It is an absolute fact that no matter which of the two major parties in Washington, D.C., is in power, the freedoms and liberties of the American people continue to be eroded. However, this does NOT mean that there are not basic differences between the two parties. The two parties differ greatly on HOW government will take our liberties. Where they are similar is in the fact that neither of them has any interest in preserving liberty. Until the American people awaken to this reality, whatever freedoms we have left in this country are doomed.

Let me ask you a question: does it really matter whether a free man is enslaved by a socialist state or a fascist state? Are the prisons any more accommodating? Are the lashes from the whip any less painful? Is the agony of losing a loved one any less grievous? Is the persecution any less revolting? What difference does it make to a free man if his liberties are stolen by an Adolf Hitler or by a Joseph Stalin?

Do you want a quick reference to the difference between how the Democrats and Republicans in Washington, D.C., are stealing our liberties? When the Democrats control things, America gets more socialism; when the Republicans control things, America gets more corporatism, which is a polite word for fascism. Socialism requires government to own everything, while fascism requires government to control everything. And remember, too, fascists and socialists have always hated each other. Big deal! Fascists and socialists alike hate freedomists, which is why inside-the-beltway Repubs and Dems can’t stand people like Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and yours truly. (Remember the MIAC report identifying the three of us, and our supporters, as being potential “dangerous militia” members?) So who cares which of these two parties happens to be in power? Our freedoms continue to be under siege. That’s why the battle in Washington politics has nothing to do with preserving freedom, but everything to do with HOW government will take freedom. Will they take it by ownership or by control? And, unfortunately, what we have right now is the worst of both worlds: government is using a combination of both ownership and control to steal our liberties. Why? Because except for a very precious few elected civil magistrates (like Congressman Ron Paul), there is no one on Capitol Hill or the White House who remotely understands–or fights for–the principles of liberty.

Even worse is that when the Donkeys and the Elephants do agree, it almost always is in an effort to point the bayonets at the American citizenry. What does it matter whether government owns it or controls it? What does it matter whether it more resembles socialism of corporatism? What it doesn’t look anything like, is FREEDOM!

Take the Democrat/Republican debate over Obamacare. Even if Mitt Romney and the GOP prevail in the November elections, Obamacare will be replaced with Romneycare. And Romneycare will be 85% Obamacare, with a slight shift toward government control and a slight shift away from government ownership. Again, I say, BIG DEAL! What neither party is talking about is that the federal government has no business being in health care. Period! Just like the federal government has no business being in over 90% of everything it is involved in today. But who do you hear saying that in Washington, D.C., except Ron Paul?

Take the issue of the burgeoning surveillance society. What does it matter which major party is in power in Washington, D.C.? The TSA gets more and more obnoxiously tyrannical; abuses of civil liberties under the guise of fighting a “war on drugs” continues unabated; abuses of the Bill of Rights under the guise of fighting a “war on terror” continues unabated; the federal police state continues to grow exponentially; unconstitutional foreign entanglements continue to proliferate; ad infinitum, ad nauseam.

In a book that I have recommended numerous times, “Hitler’s Cross,” Erwin Lutzer writes on page 72, “Through surveillance, wiretaps, spying, and rewarding those who betrayed their friends, Hitler tried to control the citizens of Germany.” On page 73, Lutzer continues the thought saying, “But Hitler did not have the technology to bring every subject of his realm into line.” So, given the technology that is available today, what would Hitler do differently if he were running things in Washington, D.C.? I ask readers to think seriously about that question. What would Hitler do differently?

Today, the federal government monitors virtually every piece of electronic communication. The federal government monitors virtually every major banking transaction. It has spies infiltrated in even harmless organizations all over the country. It threatens people with the loss of their jobs or freedom (or both) to betray their friends. It spies on us with satellites; it spies on us with drones. On July 6, 2012, President Obama signed an Executive Order authorizing the federal government to take control of America’s entire communications industry. In 2006, under President George W. Bush, the US military began planning armed confrontation against the American citizenry. (I have the document in my possession.) And, of course, we must not overlook the Patriot Act which has been authorized and reauthorized under both Republicans and Democrats; the Military Commission Act which was signed by G.W. Bush; NDAA 2012 and 2013 which was signed by President Barack Obama, and which was passed by both Republicans and Democrats. And let’s not forget the federal attack against the Branch Davidians under Democrats Bill Clinton and Janet Reno, and the assault against the Randy Weaver household under Republican President George Herbert Walker Bush.

So, again, pick your poison. Both the socialist-leaning Democrats and the corporatist-leaning Republicans in Washington, D.C., meet together in pointing the bayonet against the American citizenry. And you really wonder why nothing significant changes in this country?

And in this regard, the platforms of the two major parties are completely meaningless! I dare say that Barack Obama has never read the Democrat platform and doesn’t care one iota what it says. I also guarantee you that Mitt Romney hasn’t read the Republican platform and doesn’t care one iota what it says either. Can anyone remember when Republican Presidential candidate, Bob Dole, in a rare moment of candor, publicly admitted that he had not read his party’s platform and didn’t care what it said? Party platforms are for the benefit of rank and file party members to make them feel like their ideas count for something to the party leadership. They don’t!

So, do the Democrats and Republicans in Washington, D.C., differ? Yes! They differ on how our freedoms will be taken from us. They differ on the degree of government ownership and control. They differ on the nuances of political tyranny. Where they are twins is in their lust and ambition for power, in their approval of stripping more and more freedoms from the American people, and in their absolute and total disregard for constitutional government.

Without some sort of “Great Awakening” both politically and spiritually, whatever is left of our liberties is doomed–and both major parties in Washington, D.C., are equally culpable.

Marriage used to be called Holy Matrimony. “Matri” is Latin for “mother.” “Mony” is a suffix that means “to make.” Hence, Holy Matrimony was a sacrament whereby a woman received the blessings of God for the purpose of becoming a mother. It was a God-ordained, God-established union for the purpose of producing a family. A “marriage license” is not necessary in order to be joined in Holy Matrimony.

In fact, the marriage license is a legal document that makes the state a partner to the marriage. It gives jurisdiction over the union. Until 1923 marriage licenses were only needed for inter-racial marriages. A marriage license, like the 501 (c) (3) corporation , partners the sacred with the secular.

“Christian Business” has become one of the biggest red flags in all of America. If one truly operates a business by Christian principles it would not be necessary to advertise as such. The fruit would speak for itself. People are Christians, businesses are not. By your fruit you will know them. Many “Christians” do shabby, dishonest work, despite their advertising.

Most Christians are not really Christians. The unbiblical idea of walking the aisle and repeating a prayer is a modern-day invention. Becoming a Christian requires a complete surrender of one’s will. You don’t “come to Jesus,” “ask Jesus into your heart,” or “accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.” Becoming a Christian requires your dying to self and becoming a bond-servant to Jesus Christ. “You must be born-again”…not repeat a prayer.

Most “Christians” have it backwards. Most have never died to self. They think Jesus serves them.

Now they want us to think dinosaurs died from their own farts. Just curious…has anyone ever heard a dinosaur “cut the cheese?” What passes for science today has become almost laughable.

Homosexuals are ashamed of their behavior. That is why they work so hard to get others to approve and accept their deviancy. In their hearts they know that what they do is unacceptable and are looking for validation for the un-natural behavior. So, they look for the god-of-government to tell them that they should be proud of what they do. But their tale-tell heart will not give them peace. Even they know their activities are vile.

The same scientists that tell us that dinosaurs died from farts tell them that they were “born that way.” Many of the scientists went to Ivy League schools. Stay away from the Ivy League.

Most men are afraid to speak what is on his mind. They have become convinced that honesty is intolerant and judgmental. Only the opinion of the deranged is honored. Evil flourishes.

Both the Republicans and the Democrats are only interested in holding on to power. Neither party wants to reduce government. Is there any other way to explain their common hatred of Ron Paul?

“Pro-life” is nothing more than a political position that conservative candidates hold. When does a baby become a baby? At what point should it be protected? Why does a woman’s right to choose end at the baby’s birth? The birth makes the child MORE dependant on the mother. Ask the mother of any new-born. Born babies are much more work than a fetus.

Abortion is not choice. Ice-cream flavor is choice. Abortion is murder.

I wonder how many converts the Mormons will get when America validates The Latter Day Saints by placing one in the White House. Is this what evangelicals call “spreading the Gospel?” “Hey honey, let’s check out that Mormon Church down the road.”

Sex is not love and love is not sex. Sexual intercourse is not “making love” any more than killing cows is making hamburger.

Americans are not permitted to “marry” anyone we want. I can’t marry my son. I can’t marry my daughter. If marriage is a “civil right” why are their any restraints on it? Homosexual-sodomy based marriages are special rights…not civil rights…affirmative sin.

It is the morality, stupid. Most folks vote the economy, but the economy is a moral issue. Governments lie, steal, cheat, and covet. An amoral government will produce amoral laws. Amoral governments force moral people to follow immoral laws.

Our elected officials support immoral behavior. Homosexuality is immoral. Abortion is immoral. Divorce is immoral. Debt is immoral. Taxation is immoral. Offensive wars are immoral. John Adams warned us that “The Constitution was made for a moral and religious people…” Amoral Americans killed the Constitution by voting for immoral officials.

Tithing is not a New Testament principle. Tithing is legalism. “Freely you have received, freely give.” Tithing is pastor-promoted insurance from financial calamity. Pastors promote it for their own job-security. Most folks can’t give to worthy causes because their “church dues” sucks up all of their charitable giving. Tithing pays the “professional” Christians.

Go ahead and tithe if you want. I don’t want to argue about it. Bring all of the tithes into the storehouse that their may be meat in my house…Only the truth can set you free…free to help those who really need it rather than seeing your “tithe” used for blacktop, plasma TV’s, salaries and bennies for the church “ministers”, while the government taxes you for charity work the church should do. BTW, is blacktop “meat?” Michele and I support ministries, we don’t pay dues. Here are a bunch of other “not found in the Bible” things that might be of interest to you.

Religion is the dead faith of those now living. Christianity is the living faith of those now dead. Religion is man-made law. Jesus is man freeing grace. Religion is head knowledge. Jesus is heart knowledge. If Jesus gets your heart he’ll have your head.

Romans 13 does not teach that Christians must obey civil government. Romans 13 was written by a Christian, to Christians, for Christians. It had nothing to do with secular government, but church government. Jesus defied governmental authority. (Transgressing the tradition of the elders) Paul wrote two-thirds of the New Testament, much of it from jail. Shadrach, Daniel, Moses. Paul and Silas…you’d think they’d practice what they preached.

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Acts 5.

Would you obey Hitler? Would you follow Sharia law if you lived in Dearborn? Would you kill Grandpa if the “civil authorities” told you to? Should your taxes be used for abortion?

Obama will win if Romney is appointed. I can just hear the “super-PAC” commercials.

“Many Republicans have accused President Obama of not being an American. Did you know that as a leader of his church Governor Romney baptized the dead? Did you know that Governor Romney’s religion teaches that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers? Did you know that Governor Romney’s family practiced polygamy and that his family believed that Negroes were cursed by God? I ask you this, are those YOUR American values?” Can you say 2nd term?

I’ll know a president is serious about being pro-life when he vows to issue an executive order outlawing it as his first act in office.

I wonder what would happen to me if I produced a birth certificate to the BMV that was a verifiable forgery, presented a fraudulent draft card, and a social security number that was issued in a state in which I had never lived. Would they assign the Secret Service to protect me, or arrest me? Could I pass a background check to mow the lawn at the White House?

Pornography is sex without love; Feelings without emotion. It is like Religion without the Spirit.

Fox News has gone left. It makes fun of Ron Paul, won’t mention Sheriff Arpaio and the birth certificate, hired Jesse Jackson’s daughter as an “expert,” and has shilled for Mitt Romney.

One hundred years from today would my grandchildren be happier if they found a safe of mine filled with one-hundred paper dollar bills or with one-hundred gold dollar coins? I wonder why?

We have turned the tables on God. He made us in His own image. We have remade Him into ours. Folks say I’m nuts. I agree, but I am screwed on to the right bolt.

There are a lot of ugly looking people in America. To “level the field” plastic surgery should be free…and mandatory.

Would you take medicine if you were not ill? Man is sin-sick. Without judgment God is not necessary. Mercy follows judgment. Judgment drives one to Jesus. Jesus is the cure for sin.

My wife and kids love me. Don’t ask me why. Affirmative action, I suppose.
